MANAGEMENT

A disability management program is designed to help participants who are injured or ill, or who have a medical condition, enabling them to remain at work or return to work.

  • Engaged Employees

Our Engaged employees….

  1. Are self-motivated
  2. Have a clear understanding of their roles
  3. Recognize the significance of their contribution
  4. Focus on future training and development
  5. Feel that they belong to the community—that is, the organization
  • Proactive Management

The purpose of proactive management is to increase the chances of success by decreasing the chances and impact of hazards. It involves carefully identifying and assessing all potential risks and developing plans to prevent or manage them if they occur.

  • Effective Communication

Effective communication upholds the rights of people with disabilities to have choice and control and to make decisions about their own lives. With effective communication, workers can support and enable people to express themselves, to be heard and be safe.

The Supporting Effective Communication e-learning module demonstrates – from the perspective of NDIS participants – what effective communication looks like, and how it supports choice and control.
